Ten rows of black spotted stripes on the body. Body, whitish grey.

Mode of reproduction unknown. Diet consists mainly of insects and detritus

Distribution

Widely spread in the rivers and lake

Economic Importance

Not readily accepted by locals in its fresh state. Has a market potential in its dry form
